Join Defence and Paramilitary Forces | Army | Navy | Air-Force | Police

Indian Army is the pride of our country, which is stationed every moment for the safety of our Mother India, the heritage of this country and the people. If we talk about defense services, then they are classified into 4 types:

1. Indian Army

2. Indian Air Force

3. Indian Navy

4. Indian Coast Guard

Apart from these four types of Indian Police Defence Jobs, there are many career options in defense services like ( CRPF ) Central Armed Police Force, ( NSG ) National Security Guard, NDA, NCC, DSSC, Border Roads Organization, Institute of Defense Studies and Analysis, And there are many voluntary organizations which are contributing in the defense and security of the country.

1. Indian Army Defence Jobs:

The Indian Army is a land based and the largest armed service of India. Which firmly protects the borders of the country and the country internally by standing on the ends of the land. The Indian Army is one of the best and largest armies in the world, which has proved its strength many times.

There are two types of jobs that an aspirant can get.

1. Sepoy

2. Lieutenant

Joining as Sepoy: Sepoy Post also has different grades. Army recruitment rallies are organized all over India and through these recruitment rallies candidates can join Indian Army.

Joining Indian Army as Lieutenant: The rank of lieutenant in the Indian Army is the most coveted post in defence. Candidates can get this post by passing National Defense Academy (NDA), 10+2 Tech, NCC Special Entry, JAG (Male Female), UES, TGC, Short Service Commission, Indian Military Academy, CDS etc.

2. Indian Navy Defence Jobs:

The Indian Navy observes the movement of any sea from the country by sea and deals with any threat that may come on Mother India. If you also want to get a job in Indian Navy, then you have to work hard for it.

There are three types of defense jobs in the Indian Navy.

  1. Officer
  2. Sailor
  3. Civilian job.

Officer Jobs in Indian Navy

If you want to get government job as officer in Indian Navy then you can join Indian Navy for defense jobs through three schemes:

A: By passing the UPSC conducted NDA, CDS exam, or NCC entrance, you can be directly recruited as an officer in the Indian Navy.

B: Another way is Direct Entry Permanent Commission / Short Service Commission ( DEPC/DESSC ), through which you can also

C: You can also join the Navy through the University Entry Scheme ( UES ).

Sailors Jobs in Indian Navy

Indian Navy conducts various entries in the defense organization like Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR), Matric Recruit (MR), Musician (MUS), Sports Entry and Artificer Apprentice (AA). The candidates have to pass a written test followed by physical and medical tests. After clearing these three stages, the merit list is prepared. The candidates who have performed well in all the three phases are given posting.

Joining the Indian Navy as a Civilian

To join the Indian Navy as a civilian, there are three trades through which you can join as a civilian.

  1. Tradesman Mate ( TMM )
  2. Chargeman ( Mechanic )
  3. Chargeman ( Ammunition Explosive )

3. Indian Air Force Defense Jobs

You can join the Indian Air Force in two ways, first as an officer and second as an airman.

Join the IAF as an Officer

Join the IAF Flying Branch

If you want to join the Indian Air Force as a pilot. You can join as a fighter pilot or helicopter pilot or transport pilot in the flight branch.

Join as an Officer in the Ground Service Branch ( Technical )

As a ground duty officer, a team is managed to ensure the Indian Air Force remains to fly worthy. Based on the merit of the candidates, they are assigned a sub-branch of a technical branch.

Ground Service Branch ( Non-Technical )

As an official of this branch, the person manages the human and material resources.

Join IAF as an Airman

10+2 qualified candidates can write the entrance test to join Indian Air Force as Airman and join IAF as Airman in Group X or Group Y.

Group X

In Group X of Indian Air Force, there are various technical trades like Automobile Fitter, Electronics Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Mechanical System Fitter, Structural Fitter, Propulsion Fitter, Workshop Fitter, Workshop Assembler and Weapon Assembler. Whereas the non-technical group is a craft education instructor that anyone can join.

Group Y

Group Y has two trades in a technical group which are Communication Technician and Automobile Technician, while non-technical group has multiple trades like Administrative Assistant, Event Assistant, Medical Assistant, Logistics Assistant, Environmental Support Services. , Operations Assistant, Weather Assistant, Ground Training Assistant, IAF Police, IAF Security and Musician.
