Recruitment Notification for Agniveers in the Indian Army 2022

As part of the Agneepath program, candidates can join any of the three armed forces for a period of four years, the Indian Army, the Indian Navy, or the Indian Air Force. Recruitment notification was released by the Army in which every detail was explained clearly.

There will be a distinct rank called Agniveers in the Indian Army, which differs from all other ranks. Under the Official Secrets Act, 1923, ‘Agnives’ are prohibited from disclosing classified information gained during the four-year service period to any unauthorised person.

Furthermore, it stated, “With the introduction of this scheme, all soldiers except technical cadres of the medical branch will only be able to enrol in the regular cadre of the Indian Army after having completed their engagement period as Agnives.”.
